Anyone who knows my work will know that I love pregnancy photography. Capturing that wonderful shape of a pregnant woman, as a celebration of the journey they are about to start, is just a joy.
But something you may not know about me is that I am a big fan of yoga. I started practising yoga after I graduated and got my first job working in a studio. For the first time in my life I started to get backache, so decided to give yoga a try. That was 16 years ago and it’s still very much part of my life – probably more so than ever. In a busy world, it simply keeps both my body and head in the right place.
As you can imagine, I was delighted when I was approached by Claudine from Yoga Seeds to capture some pregnancy yoga photography for her business, based in Bagshot. Yoga Seeds offers Pregnancy Yoga, Mother & Baby yoga and even Toddler Yoga – which just proves that yoga is beneficial for you at any stage of your life!
I was in awe of the grace and poise that our model could still achieve at her very late stage of pregnancy – she went on to have her baby at home, a week later!
